Test Architect at Westpac
Greater Brisbane Area Australia
Summary
👤
SeniorMichael Galos is a seasoned Test Architect with over a decade of hands-on experience designing and building test automation and performance frameworks for web and mobile applications. He’s led QA tribes and mentored teams at major Australian organisations like Origin Energy, Australia Post and now Westpac, driving CI/CD-enabled testing with tools such as Appium, Selenium/Geb, TestCafe, Cypress, Jenkins and Docker. Equally comfortable in Java, Groovy, JavaScript/TypeScript and C#, he has repeatedly created custom frameworks and pipelines integrating BrowserStack, Applitools and cloud services (AWS, DynamoDB) to deliver reliable, scalable test suites. Michael pairs deep technical delivery with pragmatic leadership—often owning both tooling choices and team enablement—and has a knack for quickly adopting new tools to solve tricky cross-platform testing challenges.
