Top SchoolMichael Garcia is a Co-Founder and Head of Engineering with nine years of professional experience building open-source infrastructure, decentralized data libraries, and revenue-driven SaaS that fund community-first projects. A Linux user since 1996 and longtime tabletop RPG designer, he blends systems-level engineering with creative product work—shipping resilient, transparent platforms for gamers and developers alike. At SRBDE he owns technical strategy and implementation, designing multi-layered architectures and writing core code that prioritize auditability and long-term sustainability over short-term lock-in. He has a background across freelance programming, system administration, and creative writing, which gives him a rare mix of operational rigor and narrative-driven product thinking. Based in Knoxville, Tennessee, he’s equally comfortable engineering blockchains and building open-licensed tools for Game Masters, driven by a philosophy that technology should return more to communities than it extracts.
