Senior🎓
Top SchoolMichael Hotwagner is a founding, full-stack engineer with 11 years of experience building scalable web products and infrastructure across startups and growth-stage companies. He pairs hands-on backend expertise in Python/Django, search and document-processing pipelines with polished frontend UX work, often owning features end-to-end from design through deployment. Recently focused on healthcare data at patients.app, he designs ML-assisted workflows for structuring large clinical PDFs, OCR metadata extraction, and HIE integrations while improving platform reliability and CI/CD. Previously he led internationalization efforts at WeWork and drove architecture and tooling as a staff engineer at Folio, balancing product velocity with long-term maintainability. Comfortable operating where product, data, and ops intersect, he’s as likely to optimize a Lambda-based runner or Airflow deployment as he is to refine a user-facing scheduling flow.
