Top SchoolMichael Jendryke is an AI data engineer, co-founder and CTO with 11 years of experience translating academic geospatial research into production-ready GeoAI and DGGS platforms. He led a €1.4M university-to-spin-off project, co-authored the OGC API DGGS standard, and is senior author on a Scientific Data (Nature Portfolio) paper—work that underpins a Rust-based spatial tokenization stack he architected at GeoInsight. His portfolio spans European institutions and industry partners (ESA, Airbus, European Commission), delivering high-performance databases, scalable GeoAI pipelines and AI-ready Earth observation products. Notable but less obvious: he combines deep domain expertise in discrete global grids with hands-on systems engineering, from core libraries and APIs to securing multi-source public funding and operationalizing DGGS at scale.
