Top SchoolMichael Khirallah is a Senior Director of Technology with 11 years of hands-on experience leading engineering teams and architecting horizontally scalable, cloud-native systems across healthcare, insurance, and FinTech. He combines deep expertise in distributed microservices, DevOps, and AWS with practical full-stack chops—from React frontends to Node.js and Ruby on Rails backends—delivering enterprise products that handle high-value financial workflows. As a founder and former lead at multiple organizations, he’s built real-time, fault-tolerant applications (including websocket collaboration tools and a custom barcode-scanning ticketing system) and designed containerized, infinitely distributed execution platforms for secure workloads. Known for mentoring engineers, instilling frontend and backend best practices, and translating product vision into measurable delivery, he balances strategic leadership with frequent hands-on implementation. Based in Chelmsford, MA, he brings a rare blend of multimedia, low-level integration experience and large-scale cloud architecture perspective to complex software problems.
