Top SchoolMichael Khomenkov is a Senior Software Developer with 16 years of experience building and operating high-availability systems across Linux and BSD environments, currently contributing to Samsung Electronics America. He brings deep expertise in Erlang/Elixir, Python, VoIP stacks (Asterisk, Kamailio, B2BUA), and cloud-native tooling including AWS, Docker, Jenkins and Chef, alongside strong datastore experience from MySQL to Riak and PostgreSQL. His career spans finance and telecom domains—RBC Capital Markets and KeKu among them—where he's delivered resilient real-time and back-end services. Comfortable both in low-level telephony RTP/ B2BUA work and higher-level web stacks (Phoenix, Nginx), he blends operations-focused reliability with systems programming chops. Trained with a master's degree from Saint Petersburg State University of Aerospace and Instrumentation, he often bridges legacy telecom plumbing with modern containerized cloud deployments—an uncommon cross-section that accelerates production readiness.
