Senior🎓
Top SchoolMichael Klöckner is a seasoned Senior DevOps engineer based in Frankfurt with over three decades in computing and 12 years focused on modern DevOps practices. He designs and automates AWS IaaS—covering IAM, CloudFormation, AMI baking with Packer, VPC peering, and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bamboo and GitHub Actions—while maintaining production observability with PagerDuty, DataDog and SumoLogic. Comfortable across OS upgrades and configuration management (Chef) he blends deep UNIX heritage with pragmatic cloud engineering to modernize legacy systems. His background as a teacher and paragliding instructor signals strong mentorship skills, calm decision-making under pressure, and an appetite for hands-on coaching. Fluent in both systems and people-facing roles, he thrives in freelance or collaborative team environments and is particularly drawn to self-organized peer work.
