Top SchoolMichael Kuan is a software architect based in Taipei with 12 years building high-concurrency, production-grade systems across Go, JavaScript, and PHP. He has led architecture and ops for fast-growing services—designing resilient APIs, implementing Kubernetes Operators, and managing fleets of servers to sustain 99.9% uptime while enabling 1000% growth for DimOrder. Comfortable in both startup and consulting roles, he’s delivered payment gateway integrations (Stripe, Octopus, Alipay/WeChat Pay, 2C2P) and self-hosted security components such as ECDH/ECDSA key servers. Michael combines hands-on engineering (from Scrapy data pipelines to reverse-proxy and tunneling services) with pragmatic infrastructure decisions to optimize cost and reliability. Now contracting through Second Talent, he focuses on concurrent Go systems while continuing to publish technical R&D and side projects through his studio.
