Michael Lambert
Senior Product Manager at Palo Alto Networks
New Orleans, Louisiana, United States
Summary
👤
SeniorMichael Lambert is a Senior Product Manager based in New Orleans who brings 13 years of hands-on experience and nearly two decades of Linux systems and HPC operations to cloud-native security and product strategy. After a long career modernizing university infrastructure and leading automation initiatives, he transitioned into customer success for container security (Twistlock/Prisma Compute) and now shapes product direction at Palo Alto Networks. He combines deep operational empathy—having automated AIX-to-Linux migrations and built demo/automation tooling—with advisory-level customer engagement across regulated industries. A Linux enthusiast and Python practitioner who prefers vim, he connects low-level systems know-how to user journeys and product requirements in ways many product managers do not. His background means he routinely translates complex infrastructure failure modes into actionable product improvements and practical customer guidance.
