Top SchoolMichael Lee is a founder and data-driven software engineer with eight years of experience building ML and signal-processing systems for energy, IoT, and healthcare. He founded Oasis-X and has applied an applied-math lens to production problems at companies like Strella—processing >100M observations daily to optimize fruit storage—and NeuroFlow, where he translated product usage into predictive models for care retention. At Panasonic North America he developed high-throughput AI solutions for smart energy and mobility infrastructure, demonstrating an ability to move research into operational systems. His background blends Wharton-trained statistics and management science with hands-on web development from Flatiron, giving him both quantitative rigor and practical engineering chops. Comfortable across research, product, and early-stage investing from his VC fellowship, he often bridges technical strategy and business impact. Colleagues describe him as a pragmatic problem-solver who surfaces simple, scalable algorithms from complex data.
