Top SchoolMichael Marchetti is a seasoned systems architect and Member of Technical Staff based in Cambridge, Ontario, with roughly 10 years of recent focused experience and a long career in networking and software engineering. He specializes in system and zero trust architecture, bringing practical expertise from roles at Agilicus, Open Source MANO, and an extended tenure at Sandvine where he progressed from senior engineer to architect and manager. Michael has a strong background in designing resilient, secure distributed systems for telecom and cloud contexts, blending hands-on development with architectural leadership. He earned a BS in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo and repeatedly stepped into cross-functional leadership roles that bridged devops, design, and security. Notably, his career shows a pattern of returning to deepen system-level impact—spanning protocol-level work to operationalizing zero-trust principles—rather than narrow specialization. Colleagues describe him as an engineer who prefers practical, auditable solutions that scale and withstand adversarial threat models.
