Top SchoolMichael Massen is a Senior User Interface Engineer based in New York with 11 years of focused front-end experience, specializing in React and accessibility for leading firms in finance, IT, and consumer products. He has led teams and rebuilt large-scale React component libraries and financial applications at Wells Fargo and delivered production-grade UI at firms like Morgan Stanley, Apollo, and Mulberry Technology. Comfortable bridging design and engineering, he brings hands-on UX skills from early-career design and an MFA in painting, which informs his strong visual sensibility and attention to detail. Now at Octaura, he continues to craft accessible, maintainable interfaces while mentoring teams on standards and rapid component development. An early web entrepreneur and longtime freelancer, he pairs decades of practical front-end craftsmanship with institutional-scale delivery experience.
