Top SchoolMichael Moura is a Senior Fullstack Ruby on Rails engineer with a Master’s in Computer Science and 10 years of experience building production web platforms and APIs. He currently helps power SerpApi’s data-driven search API, and previously improved reliability and developer workflow at DocGo by introducing parallel test suites, automated security scanning, and migrating Ruby/Rails versions. Comfortable across front-end React/Stimulus and back-end Rails/Postgres, he has shipped end-to-end projects from a film ticketing system at MoMA to curator-facing apps that remain in use. A pragmatic engineer and mentor, he’s delivered measurable velocity and test-speed gains while also integrating mobile push, OpenAPI-driven docs, and CI automation. He’s based in Rochester, NY and brings an unusual blend of API-focused scraping/product experience with an active interest in Metaverse/VR and AI.
