Top SchoolMichael Ocasio is an Integration Engineer with eight years of hands-on experience building reliable integrations, automation, and scalable web systems across operations-heavy environments. He has led engineering teams and established development standards as a founding engineer for a veteran-focused lending division, and architected full-stack solutions using Ruby on Rails, Next.js, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, and React. Michael's background in military vehicle and robotics maintenance gives him a practical, systems-oriented approach to debugging and reliability, which he applies to ownership of integration monitoring and data correctness. He excels at turning CLI-driven workflows into automated, user-friendly systems that reduce operational overhead and accelerate onboarding. Based in Belleview, Florida, he pairs consulting and founding experience with a curiosity for efficient tooling—he’s a Ruby coder, founding engineer mentality, and unabashed sushi-and-coffee enthusiast.
