Senior🎓
Top SchoolMichael Pedersen is a senior software engineer and infrastructure leader with 18 years of experience building and operating large-scale data platforms, most recently architecting streaming ETL that handles 40 TB/day and guiding PulsePoint through a WebMD acquisition and major migrations. He blends deep hands-on skills in Python, Kafka, Hadoop, Trino, Alluxio and Kubernetes with long-standing Unix/Linux systems expertise to solve latency, scalability and compliance challenges across data centers and cloud environments. As a manager he’s kept high retention and a strong team culture while instituting processes—splitting monolithic ETL repos, migrating Python 2→3, and upgrading Kafka with zero downtime. His background spans devops, systems administration and app development, giving him a rare ability to bridge operational reliability with product delivery. Based in New Jersey, he now brings this mix of technical breadth and practical leadership to EvolutionIQ.
