Top SchoolMichael Polan is a Principal Software Engineer based in New Jersey with a decade of experience designing and operating large-scale data and service platforms in healthcare and enterprise software. At UnitedHealth Group he leads data engineering platform efforts across Snowflake and Databricks while previously driving architecture and SRE for .NET microservices, React frontends, mobile apps and AWS infrastructure. He has a strong Java background from multi-year work on mainframe-integrated and cloud-native systems, and a track record of mentoring teams on testing, CI/CD and scalable microservice patterns.
