Summary
👤
SeniorMichael Priest is a seasoned prepress and graphic design professional with over three decades of experience in the printing industry and 14 years running his own studio, Praxis Creative Art, in Canberra. He combines deep technical mastery of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Acrobat with practical web skills in HTML, CSS and familiarity with PHP and jQuery to deliver business-focused print and web solutions. Comfortable with client-facing work at all levels, he prioritises design that enhances clients' commercial objectives rather than portfolio pieces. His long tenure in prepress gives him rare, hands-on expertise in production workflows and quality control that reduces costly print issues. As an owner-operator he blends creative craft with small-business acumen, making him a reliable partner for organisations seeking measurable design impact.
