Top SchoolMichael Prummer is a software engineer and researcher with over a decade of hands-on experience building full-stack, cloud-native, Web3 and real-time 3D systems, now working as a postdoctoral researcher at Siemens. He earned a summa cum laude PhD for work on next-generation industrial automation that combines Web3, asset tokenization, IoT and XR to enable decentralized control and smart manufacturing. A former startup co-founder and senior engineer, he has led R&D across XR, image recognition, DevOps and production mobile/web apps—including XR work for the Coldplay World Tour—and commercialized academic research into rehab exergames using depth sensors. He blends rigorous academic training with product-focused engineering, routinely moving prototypes into deployed systems and infrastructure-as-code. Based in Munich, he is equally comfortable prototyping in Unity and architecting cloud-backend systems, with a track record of patentable innovations and interdisciplinary collaboration.
