Top SchoolMichael Russell is a Staff Software Engineer with over a decade of experience building and hardening large-scale, regulated platforms and device integrations. He has a rare blend of deep testing and development expertise—from C++/C#/Java and computer vision work at Netflix to delivering a single codebase sportsbook and iCasino platform at Fanatics that met complex U.S. regulatory demands and sustained 100% uptime through multiple Super Bowls. Michael is skilled at reducing operational risk through performance tuning and modern CI/CD practices (including in-memory Kafka testing) and has driven cross-functional programs in security, legal/patent processes, and mentorship. Based in Las Vegas, he also brings game- and console-certification experience and a history of inventing test systems (including a patented Netflix solution) that make automated validation more objective and scalable.
