Senior🎓
Top SchoolMichael Sanford is a Director of Operations and seasoned technologist with 12 years of hands-on experience spanning cybersecurity, cloud architecture, DevOps, and polyglot software development. Based in Montreal, he leads resilient, compliant operations at Stelvio—driving SOC 2 controls, cloud/on-prem architectures, and cost-conscious IT strategy while upskilling teams through pragmatic training. His background ranges from building globally distributed AWS systems and CI/CD pipelines to implementing security monitoring and secure application baselines, reflecting a blend of developer pragmatism and security-first thinking. Comfortable moving between Angular front-ends, JavaEE and Go microservices, and low-level Linux tooling, he brings both breadth and depth to operational challenges. An understated strength is his track record of turning internal tools and training materials into lasting organizational capabilities that improve security posture and developer velocity.
