Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolMichael Sausa is a Senior Software Engineer II based in Austin with 11 years of experience crafting responsive, test-driven front-end applications and component libraries. He combines deep visual design sensibilities with a strong engineering background, having built UI systems in Svelte, React, Angular and Next.js while driving adoption of testing and accessibility best practices. At companies from healthcare to security analytics he’s led migrations, POCs for next-gen frameworks, and maintained high test coverage and cross-browser reliability. Equally comfortable building REST APIs and microservices as implementing polished front-ends, he brings full-stack pragmatism to product-focused teams. A Turing School-trained front-end engineer who once took a five-month backpacking sabbatical in Southeast Asia, he pairs curiosity about how things work with a knack for making interfaces feel intuitive.
