Senior🎓
Top SchoolMichael Schinis is a product-focused engineer and co-founder with 12 years of experience building scalable web and native mobile products from idea to production. Based in Nicosia, he leads Codelia Studios as a hands-on engineer, architecting full-stack solutions using Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, Swift/SwiftUI, Kotlin, and serverless AWS stacks. He has a track record of shipping first-of-kind features—like Trouva’s live shopping mobile launch—and building cross-functional teams and CI/CD practices that prioritize maintainability and performance. Comfortable toggling between product strategy and low-level implementation, he uses data-driven approaches to structure ambiguous problems and align engineering with business outcomes. An open-source-minded developer and photographer, he sharpens his craft through community contributions and side projects that often push platform boundaries. Trained as an Electrical and Electronics engineer at the University of Manchester, he combines formal engineering rigor with entrepreneurial grit.
