Top SchoolMichael Silver is a pragmatic senior software engineer and manager with over 25 years of experience delivering practical, cost-conscious solutions across web, backend, and distributed systems. Based in Rome, Georgia, he blends hands-on implementation—from building APIs, components, and queue-based processing systems that handle millions of tax returns—to managing teams and security remediation as a "Security Champion." His toolkit spans C#, .NET Core, Docker, Azure, SQL/Oracle, PostgreSQL, Node.js and Python, and he has a long history of building both customer-facing apps and resilient operational services. Comfortable in consultancy and enterprise environments, he excels at translating complex requirements into auditable, ADA-compliant CMS and service implementations. An early adopter of Linux-based deployments and virtualization for development, he pairs deep technical craft with a psychology background that informs pragmatic team leadership and user-focused design.
