Top SchoolMichael Tedder is a realtime 3D graphics specialist and engineering leader with over 25 years of shipped game and engine work and 17 years of professional experience, currently serving as Country Manager & Principal Engineer for Japan. He architects high-performance, cross-platform rendering and multiplayer systems—with deep C++17, CPU/GPU parallelization, shader, and scenegraph expertise—while also designing scalable AWS-based backends and CI/CD pipelines for game services. As founder/CTO of Cold Fusion, he built a custom multithreaded engine, shipped Crystal Clash across consoles and mobile, and ran its multiplayer on serverless AWS infrastructure supporting large-scale play. Equally comfortable in low-level optimization and cloud networking, he combines security-minded internet engineering with practical DevOps using Docker, TypeScript, PHP, and Python. A native English speaker fluent in Japanese, he’s an active community organizer and AWS Community Builder who surfaces technical knowledge through talks and local game and demo events.
