Top SchoolMichael Tharrington is a community and customer success leader with nearly a decade of experience growing developer and civic-tech communities, currently directing Community and Customer Success at Ordinal. He builds onboarding, training, and support systems from the ground up, and is skilled at turning product feedback into scalable moderation, content, and engagement programs. Comfortable as a department-of-one in remote startup environments, he combines hands-on customer support with strategic community development—especially among municipal government workers and city planners. Michael has a track record of recruiting and training moderators, running webinars and video content, and translating complex policy and technical materials into usable resources. He brings a rare blend of creative writing training and deep operational experience, which helps him craft clear communications and data-driven processes. Passionate about inclusive, civil online spaces, he aims to convert networks of practitioners into self-sustaining peer communities.
