Senior🎓
Top SchoolMichael Tierney is a Senior Full Stack Engineer and pragmatic engineering leader with 11 years of experience building SaaS and embedded systems, currently shipping Kotlin, Spring Boot and React at a Dublin startup. He blends hands-on backend craftsmanship with people leadership—mentoring engineers, improving delivery processes, and stepping into product or support roles when needed to keep projects moving. Comfortable across C++, Python, CUDA and GLSL from a background in high-performance computing and computer vision, he favors solving the right problem sustainably over feature churn. Known as an “agent of change,” he builds the machine that makes the machine: shaping how engineering, product and design collaborate as well as writing production code.
