Top SchoolMichael Underbrink is a product-minded software engineer and entrepreneur based in Greater St. Louis who blends front-end JavaScript (React, Redux) and Node.js backend work with hands-on product development and small-batch manufacturing. With a background in mechanical and petroleum engineering and roles at Schlumberger, he brings systems thinking to software and hardware, accelerating IoT and consumer product delivery via iterative MVPs and just-in-time production. As owner of MIGRUN Designs he has taken multiple products from concept through testing, packaging optimization, and online launch, using customer feedback to drive rapid improvements. He mentors and shares knowledge in the community—recently speaking on React Hooks—and applies that teaching instinct to documentation and support processes that scale across global operations. What sets him apart is his cross-disciplinary fluency: he designs mechanical systems, writes production-grade code, and optimizes fulfillment to minimize cost while preserving user experience.
