Top SchoolMichael Willmott is a product leader and engineer with 13 years of experience building and scaling hardware-backed digital platforms, currently shaping Lyft’s bikes and scooters product as a Senior Product Manager. He co-founded and grew Knodium from a university project to a Techstars-backed platform reaching 100k+ students and later led product at Beryl (formerly Blaze) to operate 10k+ vehicles and deliver millions of rides. Comfortable across early-stage incubation and later-stage operations, he hires and scales cross-functional teams, defines product frameworks, and aligns product strategy with public-sector partners. An experienced public speaker and guest lecturer, he also advises startups on customer-centric scaling and go-to-market partnerships (notably helping SwimIO secure a Speedo deal). Outside the office he channels his entrepreneurial drive into community-building—co-founding TechBikers, which has raised over $1M for charity—and competes in water polo, swimming and cycling. With an MEng from Imperial College and a pragmatic, detail-oriented approach, he blends engineering rigor with creative product design to simplify complex systems.
