Top SchoolMichael Zumstein is a front-end architect and design-systems expert with 12+ years building accessible, performance-oriented web platforms and open source Drupal architectures from Bern, Switzerland. As co‑founder of Yokai and core team member at Satellites of Love, he blends semantic HTML/CSS/JS engineering with design tokens, web components and UX strategy to deliver holistic, sustainable digital experiences. He has driven cross-division design system work for large clients like SBB (Lyne) and consults on UX writing, developer experience and frontend architecture. Beyond code, Michael pairs his technical craft with an unconventional mix of interests—vigneron, web sommelier, music and photography—that inform a pragmatic, human-centered approach to web standards and long-term maintainability.
