Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolMichal Derdak is a Team Lead and data/cloud engineering practitioner based in Copenhagen with nine years of experience building production-ready data tooling and ML serving solutions at Visma. He progressed from student engineer roles—where he shipped mobile TensorFlow Lite models and open-source .NET libraries—to leading teams that enable large pre-training workflows and inference platforms for data science. Michal combines hands-on engineering (platform, API, and automation tooling) with team leadership, improving developer experience through automation like automatic DB entity generation. His background spans the full lifecycle of ML systems and backend services, and he brings a pragmatic blend of product-focused iterations and infrastructure thinking informed by a master’s in Computer Science. Notably, he’s turned internship projects into reusable engineering assets that still power production services.
