Top SchoolMichal Kononenko is a Senior Hardware Engineer with 11 years of experience building test systems, production lines, and instrumentation for high-performance optical and RF electronics. Currently at Nokia after leading hardware development at Infinera, he has hands-on experience designing and shipping production test stations for XR optical transceivers and integrating test processes across overseas contract manufacturers. His background in nanotechnology engineering and research at the University of Waterloo includes work on phase noise in relaxation oscillators and mixed-mode device/circuit simulation, giving him strong analytical and modeling skills that bridge device physics and system-level testing. Michal pairs firmware and test-software development experience with practical manufacturing know-how, having written and verified electronics test software in production environments. Now seeking roles in RF technology, instrumentation, and quantum computing, he offers a rare combination of experimental quantum-systems insight and production-grade engineering. Based in Allentown, PA, he brings both academic rigor and proven results scaling complex hardware to manufacturing.
