Senior🎓
Top SchoolMichal Spiez is an SRE and Network Automation Engineer with nearly 15 years in networking and nine years focused on automation, delivering robust solutions across ISP and enterprise environments. He builds scalable automation platforms using Ansible/AWX, Nautobot/Napalm, Python, CI/CD pipelines, and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Thanos) while integrating cloud services on AWS. At Baxter he drives Nautobot plugin development and syncs diverse data sources like Zscaler, Meraki, and Infoblox, and has optimized AWX and Ansible performance for production workloads. His carrier-grade routing background (MPLS, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS) and multiple vendor lab certifications inform practical, compliance-minded automation for migrations and zero-touch provisioning. Comfortable authoring custom Ansible modules, StackStorm/StackStorm workflows, and IaC pipelines, he pairs deep network expertise with software engineering practices. Based in Warsaw, he maintains public code on GitHub and favors pragmatic tool choices tailored to each environment rather than one-size-fits-all frameworks.
