Top SchoolMicheál Looney is a Senior Systems Engineer with 11 years’ experience focused on production infrastructure, security, availability, and cost optimization at Intercom, where he helps enable engineers to ship code hundreds of times per week. He has progressed through support and engineering roles at Intercom, combining deep operational expertise with hands-on scripting and automation from earlier production-support work in betting and trading systems. Comfortable across Linux, monitoring tooling and on-call tooling, he has a pragmatic track record of building utilities to migrate hosts, audit alerting, and reduce operational toil. Fluent in French and trained in cloud and mobile software development, he brings both customer-facing empathy and technical rigor to platform reliability challenges.
