Senior🎓
Top SchoolMichel Edkrantz is a Staff Engineer with 11 years of experience building scalable, fault-tolerant data pipelines and APIs across startups and enterprise environments. Based in Gothenburg, he combines engineering physics training and an M.Sc. in Complex Adaptive Systems with deep practical skills in Scala, Java, Python, Elasticsearch, Mongo, RabbitMQ and cloud deployment on AWS/GCP. He has led architecture and platform teams at Kognic and Recorded Future, where he helped scale systems to handle billion-entity datasets and built an internal Python framework powering hundreds of processes. An entrepreneur since 2008, Michel ran his own consultancy, shipped web products acquired by industry players, and has hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes and modern CI/CD. He blends research-driven thinking—publishing work on predicting exploit likelihood—with pragmatic product delivery, often acting as the bridge between data science and production engineering. Colleagues value him for shipping resilient systems and for turning complex distributed problems into maintainable, automated solutions.
