Top SchoolMichel Müller is a software leader and founder with 13 years of experience building cloud-native data, computation, and document-generation platforms for finance and research. As Co-Founder and CEO of Octigen and former Head of BI Engineering at Fisch Asset Management, he combines hands-on engineering (AWS Lambda, Python, PostgreSQL, NoSQL) with product and business development to automate reporting and embed GenAI into workflows. His background includes a PhD in High Performance Computing and contributions to parallel computing tools and large-scale simulation performance, which inform his pragmatic approach to scalable architecture. Michel moved from academic HPC and source-to-source transpilation work into production engineering and systems architecture, giving him rare depth across GPU-parallelism, distributed services, and serverless patterns. He is known for mentoring teams and translating complex business needs into maintainable, automated solutions that reduce operational friction. Based in Zug, Switzerland, he blends research-driven rigor with entrepreneurial execution to ship repeatable, production-grade data products.
