👤
SeniorMichele Buccoli is a Senior Innovation Scientist with 10 years of experience at the intersection of audio signal processing and machine learning, holding a PhD from Politecnico di Milano in Music Information Retrieval. He combines academic rigor—years as a post-doc and teaching assistant in multimedia signal processing and creative computing—with industry impact, leading R&D for BdSound's S2C suite on echo cancellation, noise suppression and beamforming. Michele has a track record of translating research into product-ready AI and signal-processing solutions and mentoring more than ten MSc students who later joined industry. His work uniquely spans music and speech domains, including multimodal analysis of dance motion for the WhoLoDancE project, reflecting an uncommon blend of sonic-semantic modeling and movement analysis. Based in Milan, he brings both deep domain expertise and a proven ability to shepherd students and prototypes into commercial deployments.
