Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolMichele Esposito is a founder and product-focused engineering leader with 12 years of experience building high-growth SaaS and consumer products from zero to scale. He co-founded Candu, leading product, design and engineering to millions of monthly active users, raised $5.4M from top investors, and later steered the company through a restructuring to achieve its first profitable quarter. Prior roles at TransferWise and Coursera show a strong track record of shipping UX and monetization improvements that moved key metrics and revenue. Now building Vertical, an AI running coach that fuses training data with subjective wellbeing and life context, he blends technical depth with a pragmatic product sensibility. Based in London, Michele pairs entrepreneurial grit with hands-on execution and a habit of testing ideas quickly—whether product experiments or backcountry ski lines. Outside work he’s an avid climber and runner, bringing that athlete’s mindset to how he designs user-centered fitness technology.
