Top SchoolMichele Gazzetti is a research software engineer with 11 years of experience, currently advancing distributed cloud services and system reliability on IBM’s High Performance Computing team in Dublin. He has hands-on expertise in container orchestration and lifecycle automation—intern work at IBM produced a Golang-extended Docker API and a Java-based locality manager that sped up container deployments up to 3x. Michele blends systems-level engineering with practical metric collection and deployment experiments (including a 21-VM virtualized testbed), reflecting a strong empirical approach to performance and reliability. Trained in computer engineering at Università di Bologna, he pairs academic grounding with production-focused tooling and a knack for squeezing predictable bandwidth and efficiency out of complex, distributed environments.
