Summary
👤
SeniorMichiel Kikkert is a Lead Angular Developer and founder with two decades of IT experience and 11 years focused on complex front-end applications in enterprise environments. He specialises in high-performance JavaScript/Angular architectures, Nx monorepos, NgRx, Module Federation and end-to-end web performance — including CDN and Cloudflare Workers expertise. Michiel has a strong track record of modernising legacy AngularJS systems, implementing WCAG accessibility, and leading multidisciplinary teams as a technical lead or consultant. His background spans security, DNS, infrastructure and backend work (Node, NestJS, MongoDB), giving him an uncommon full-stack perspective for front-end optimisation. He frequently takes on interim CTO and mentoring roles, blending hands-on coding with architecture reviews and performance audits. Based in Enschede, Netherlands, he runs his own consultancy experience since 2005 and has repeatedly delivered large-scale refactors and platform builds for public and private sector clients.
