Top SchoolMick Schouten is a creative front-end developer and owner of Bravebox with 11 years of experience turning design-minded concepts into polished, responsive interfaces. He specializes in React and Next.js (2.5 years) and has deep roots in web component work with Polymer, plus a long history of crafting complex layouts, animations, and styleguides in CSS for clients like ING and Cobase. Comfortable across any CSS framework and competent in Figma-driven design, he blends visual sensibility with pragmatic component engineering. Based in Usquert, Netherlands, he pairs freelance entrepreneurship with hands-on roles at product teams, bringing both client-facing design advice and production-grade front-end implementations. A detail-oriented stylist at heart, Mick’s unusual combination of multimedia design origins and modern React expertise makes him particularly skilled at animation-driven UI and cohesive design systems.
