Miftah Regyana
Indonesia
Summary
👤
SeniorMiftah Regyana is a backend-focused Software Engineer with 9 years of experience and 5+ years building APIs, microservices, and search systems using Node.js, TypeScript, Laravel, Java, and Elasticsearch. He specializes in turning complex product requirements into clean, maintainable services and scalable architectures, with hands-on experience in search relevance, SQL-to-Elasticsearch migrations, and performance optimization. Miftah has driven migrations to TypeScript, introduced DDD/CQRS and event-driven patterns, and improved operational visibility through internal tooling and telemetry. He routinely reduces database load by designing Elasticsearch-driven query flows and implements idempotent, auditable patterns to keep production systems reliable. Based in Cimahi, Indonesia, he combines practical engineering with a focus on long-term maintainability, often tackling the less-visible work—parity checks, backfill pipelines, and data-quality tooling—that prevents regressions. Colleagues rely on him to simplify backend complexity so systems can evolve with the product.
