Top SchoolMiika Arponen is a data-focused software professional with 11 years of experience turning messy inputs into actionable systems, currently working as a Data Analyst for Ilves Hockey while running his own consultancy and contributing to Liiga as a Data Engineer. He blends full-stack and DevOps chops—years as a WordPress lead, DevOps architect and maker of internal tools—with deep domain expertise in sports analytics, especially ice hockey, floorball and motorsports. Miika builds dashboards, predictive models, APIs and data architectures that prioritize real-world value and usability, and has a track record of shipping production statistics engines and custom tooling. A former regional scout and longtime hockey journalist, he brings a rare combination of on-ice scouting insight and technical rigor to analytics problems.
