Top SchoolMika Tervonen is a Principal Software Engineer based in Oulu with over two decades of hands-on experience building and leading development of embedded network stacks and mesh networking standards. He has driven technical leadership and architecture for Thread and Wi-SUN implementations across Arm, Pelion, Nordic Semiconductor and Alif, and has deep protocol expertise spanning IPv6, 6LoWPAN, RPL, DTLS and upper-layer protocols like SIP/IMS and HTTP/TLS. Mika has contributed to standardization, certification harnesses and test plans—turning specifications into validated reference implementations used in interoperability events. Comfortable in multinational, multi-site teams, he blends a developer’s curiosity with system-level thinking to make robust, certifiable networking products.
