Top SchoolMika Turunen is a product and technology executive with 15+ years of experience building cloud-native, AI-first platforms and scaling engineering organizations across Europe, the US and India. As SVP of Product & Engineering at M-Files he’s led the company through VC-to-PE transformation, cloud and AI strategy, and rapid global hiring—growing Bangalore from zero to 120 engineers in 2025 while embedding strong leadership development and succession planning. He combines hands-on architecture chops from roles as CTO and Chief Architect with operator experience in payments, event-driven systems and PE diligence, translating technical debt and platform choices into measurable value. Known as an architect and generalist on GitHub, Mika favors practical, pragmatic consolidation and platform strategies that mobilize distributed teams. He balances product rigor with delivery metrics—shipping faster without sacrificing compliance or reliability—and takes personal responsibility for growing the next generation of leaders. Based in Tampere, Finland, he brings a rare mix of execution, investor-facing experience, and technical breadth across cloud, microservices and AI-powered knowledge work.
