Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolMike Anthony is a veteran database and systems developer with three decades of programming experience who now channels his expertise into indie game development and content production. Based in the Greater Seattle Area, he has deep SQL Server, ETL and BI credentials from senior roles at PEMCO, ProQuest and Microsoft, plus a long history building data warehouses, complex validation pipelines and integrations. He pairs legacy-era expertise (COBOL, CICS) with modern cloud and data tooling, having bridged on-prem systems to AWS and API-driven exports. Mike has a habit of mentoring junior engineers and repeatedly resurfacing in contract and consultancy roles to solve thorny data problems. Unusually, his career began designing play-by-mail and early PC games, a thread he’s returning to now that he’s semi-retired and producing creative game projects. His background in economics and psychology coursework gives him a pragmatic, user-focused perspective on technical design and team dynamics.
