Top SchoolMike Barberry is a Senior Software Engineer with six years of experience building scalable, production-grade systems across fintech, healthcare, and public research domains. At Capital One he focused on decision orchestration and platform convergence, shipping CLI tools, data source integrations, and Golang Lambdas to modernize identity verification flows. His background includes end-to-end product work from a solo consultancy—building an email marketing engine and bespoke apps—to team-driven projects that delivered NIH research portals, accessibility tooling, and secure AWS-backed SaaS features. Comfortable across backend services, data pipelines, and front-end interfaces, he pairs technical craftsmanship with a pragmatic, product-oriented mindset. Based in McLean, VA, he also brings a curious interdisciplinary perspective from studies in law, politics, and neuroscience and a personal interest in music that often informs his collaborative approach.
