Top SchoolMike Bieronski is a software engineer with nine years of experience building distributed systems and microservice platforms, currently contributing at Descript in Chicago. He moved rapidly from hands-on engineering to leadership roles at Swoop, rising to Head of Engineering where he balanced team strategy with code delivery. Prior roles at Friendbuy and Parasoft reflect deep experience in designing resilient back-end architectures and shipping infrastructure improvements. His background in New Media and a later mathematics study hint at a blend of creative product sensibility and quantitative problem-solving. Notably, he has roots in content operations and prototyping, giving him an uncommon appreciation for both developer ergonomics and end-user workflows. He brings a pragmatic, cross-functional approach to turning complex systems into maintainable, production-ready services.
