Senior🎓
Top SchoolMike Croall is a software engineer based in London with 11 years’ experience building systems across Java, TypeScript/JavaScript, Rust, Python (including OpenCV), SQL, MongoDB and native Android. He holds a First Class Computer Science degree from Durham University and has moved between startup and finance contexts, most recently serving as Vice President at Goldman Sachs before joining Arondite. Comfortable shipping both backend services and client-facing mobile features, he brings practical cross-stack fluency and a knack for production-ready engineering. He has led a small company as Director and mentored learners as a tutor, which informs his collaborative, mentoring-oriented approach to teams. Technically curious, he pairs systems-level thinking with hands-on implementation—recently expanding into Rust alongside established JVM and JavaScript toolchains. Even when focused on high-throughput finance projects, he retains a practical maker’s mindset from building products end-to-end.
