Top SchoolMike De Bock is a pragmatic freelance software engineer and entrepreneur with 12+ years building scalable web applications, high-traffic platforms and e-commerce integrations from concept to production. As owner of Masterwebber and co-founder of Nieuwsbriefsysteem.nl he specializes in backend systems, APIs and integrations (TypeScript/Node.js, Python/Django, Ruby on Rails) and routinely architects event-driven solutions and payment/CMS integrations for resilient, testable platforms. He emphasizes quality through TDD, unit and end-to-end testing, CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Docker, AWS), while actively contributing to team standards via code reviews and knowledge sharing. Based in Utrecht, he favors durable, user-focused solutions over quick fixes and brings hands-on DevOps experience that keeps systems performant and maintainable.
