Top SchoolMike Escalante is a systems engineer with 11 years of experience building and operating Linux-first infrastructure, full-stack web applications, and security-conscious integrations for organizations like Cloudflare and Boston College. He blends deep systems and SRE skills (Python, Go, Ansible, Linux, OAuth2/SSO) with hands-on web and embedded development from a long freelance practice, delivering pragmatic, maintainable solutions across stacks. Comfortable from datacenter automation to browser UI, he has a track record of shipping production tooling and legacy migrations while supporting identity and observability ecosystems. An Eagle Scout and lifelong tinkerer, he brings curiosity to hardware projects—custom keyboards, audio gear, and even hydroponic automation—which informs a design sensibility that favors beautiful yet practical engineering.
